I did not start out as a consultant. I started out as someone who watched incredible dentists: talented, driven, genuinely good people, get buried by the business side of what they had worked so hard to build.

The chaos was not from lack of effort. It was from lack of a roadmap. Nobody teaches you in dental school how to develop a team member into a leader, build a culture that outlasts your best employee, or create systems that actually hold when you are not in the room. You are expected to just figure it out. Usually alone. Usually after a full schedule of patients who needed everything from you that day.
